WHAT IS NORTH INTO NOTHING?
Growing up in Montana, my Grandfather and Great Grandfather would take my Dad and his 5 siblings hunting, camping, fishing and other adventures all over the treasure state. Back when many landmarks, canyons and valleys in Montana were unnamed. As a reminder and future locator, my Grandfather created his own names for these great outdoors... Spectacle Canyon (where my uncle lost his glasses), Badger Pocket (where they hunted a badger), The Nitch (a rock formation where my Great Grandfather would sit for hours looking for wildlife), Antelope Valley, Turtle Rock, The Big Bucks Are Higher Up and.....
North Into Nothing.
Not only is Montana north of us here in Denver but is also where I was born, where my parents were born, where my mother grew up, where my parents met and got married, where my Great Grandfather and Great Great Grandfather were judges, where I caught my very first fish with my Grandfather and where my ancestors lived, worked, fished, hunted, camped, shot bows and arrows, drank whiskey and explored Big Sky country.
North Into Nothing is a labor of love for both Collin & myself. Not only does it involve Collin’s love for woodworking & my love for design but it also combines our shared love of fly fishing, history, the great outdoors & creating things with our own two hands.
